The purification of the mind is very necessary. (72)

About This Quote

The purification of the mind is very necessary. The mind needs to be cleansed of all its impurities and free of all the negative thoughts and emotions that we accumulate throughout our lifetime. Without a clean mind we can't think clearly and we end up making poor decisions that lead to more unhappiness and suffering. We must know that there is a difference between happiness and pain and we need to learn how to distinguish between the two. After all, the only real joy in life is knowing that you are happy.
